According to The Post, a suspected serial murderer has been detained in connection with the infamous Long Island murders at Gilgo Beach.

According to a person familiar with the investigation, the suspect, who has not yet been named, is scheduled to appear in court soon.

The source claimed that he is not being investigated in relation to the other six people who were later suspected of being involved, but rather the so-called “Gilgo Four,” four women who were discovered wrapped in hessian days apart in late 2010.

By the spring of 2011, there were ten bodies total—eight women, a guy who has not been recognised, and a young child.

The bodies were discovered while looking for missing sex worker Shannan Gilbert from Jersey City, whose body wasn’t discovered until December 2011, a year after the Giglo Four.
