Who was Ramin Khodakaramrezaei?

Ramin Khodakaramrezaei was a 38-year-old trucker from Texas. He committed suicide on Sunday night after killing Sadeghi and her husband.

Khodakaramrezaei initially started emailing and messaging Sadeghi as one of her listeners. They discussed the show and also became friends, but it soon turned into stalking, Zadegi had said in a petition for a restraining order against Khodakaramrezaei.

“He has bursts of anger and is completely delusional. These delusions make me fear for my life and the lives of my loved ones,” she said in the petition.

“He contacted my husband and continues to do so. He has come to my neighborhood several times, staying at inns around my neighborhood, and he has parked down my street in hopes of seeing me. I am suffering a deep-seated fear for my safety.”

Reports say that Khodakaramrezaei sent hundreds of offensive messages to Sadeghi, before driving 2000 miles, all the way from his home in Texas, to stalk Sadeghi physically.

While Khodakaramrezaei burst into the podcaster’s house, her mother briefly encountered him. But she managed to escape and took a neighbor’s help to call 911 and report the incident.

When the police came to the house on the 16700 block of Northeast 89th Street, they found all three dead.
