Slick Goku was an American Animator who joined YouTube in 2018 and was best known for animating short videos and skits with characters from his creation – the Slick Goku universe.

Reggie Groover was in his late 20s when he passed away. His exact age is not yet revealed. While a YouTube user claimed his age to be 25 years, another Twitter user claimed he was 27.
Cause of death
The news of Groover’s death was announced on January 21. Reports suggested that he passed away two days earlier, on January 19, 2023. Details on his death were given by voice actor Freddie Heinz, who wrote that Groover suffered a ‘severe stroke’. He reportedly suffered a seizure. According to a GoFundMe post, he died with his family around him.
Groover’s mother Janice Gore paid tribute to her son saying that he “enjoyed living life to his fullest”. “Anywhere Reggie would go he would make friends. Reggie was the kind of man that would support those he cared about. He is a dependable man who is dedicated to improving himself. Slick enjoyed living life to the fullest. He loved running, swimming, and skateboarding. Reggie loved juice and would have juice every single day. He learned a lot of life lessons from his grandfather when they would go fishing together,” she said.
Details about his father are unknown.

Reggie Groover’s friend, JB Coleman also paid his tribute to the animator, writing, “Reggie was the best friend you could ever ask for. We had known the other for only seven years but honestly, it felt more like a lifetime.”
