Answer: Jhansi

Born on November 19, 1828, Lakshmibai was the Maharani consort of the Maratha princely state of Jhansi from 1843 to 1853 as the wife of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao.

One of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, Lakshmibai, after taking Gwalior, marched east to Morar to confront a British counterattack. Dressed as a man, she fought a fierce battle and was killed.

Lakshmibai was fondly called ‘Manu’ by everyone. She was a braveheart from birth and was accustomed to horseback riding and had three horses.
