The artwork projects Andy Warhol’s positive view of the modern world which believes that even the banalest things in our everyday life can become art. The aesthetics of the ordinary is celebrated in this work, as opposed to the abstract expressionist, who tried to create superfluous metaphors for modernity, completely ignoring its splendour.
