Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba
has opined that the club are going the right way, but must learn from their humiliating
series of semi-final defeats in case of improving, AFP reported.

The Red Devils have so far lost four semi-finals in the last two seasons.
The Ole Gunnar Solksjaer-managed side were eliminated from the top four competition
as they lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the League Cup on Wednesday.

“Details make the difference all
the time and when it’s big games like this, details, set-piece and we lost on
this. We have to learn. We have to learn because it’s not the first time”, AFP
quoted Pogba as saying.

In a major improvement since last
time, however, United have acquired the second place in the League table, eyeing
a title challenge as they sit behind Liverpool with the same number of points
and a game in hand.

“We have to learn. We have to learn
because it’s not the first time”, Pogba said.

United have not won the Premier
League since the 2012-2013 season when legendary club coach Sir Alex Ferguson
retired, and last won silverware in 2017.

Stressing on the fact that the club
is improving, however, Pogba, said that even as they lost in the semi-finals,
they have gone far in it and that is important. The French national however,
stated that the club needs to go to the ‘next step’.
