Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ engagement announcement has taken Twitter by surprise. Rodgers made this announcement while accepting his Associated Press Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for 2020.

“2020 was definitely a crazy year, filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hairs scraped, playing for very little fans,” Rodgers said before casually announce that he is engaged.

“I got engaged and I played some of the best football of my career,” he said. Rodgers also went on to thank his “fiancée” but did not mention her name.

This announcement became a hot topic on Twitter with people assuming that he might be engaged to ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ actor Shailene Woodley.

Rodgers was previously in a relationship with former IndyCar  driver Danica Patrick.
