Storm Eunice has wreaked havoc in various regions of the UK,
knocking out power to thousands of homes. By damaging cars and collapsing
buildings, it has caused major disruptions to daily life and transport
networks.

While the severe winds and rain have harmed a large number
of people, some appear to be coping with the storm in a relaxed and peaceful
manner.

If their home was damaged by a storm, most individuals would
panic and rush to the emergency room. But one family chose to forego all of
that in favour of some liquid nourishment.

On the Isle of Wight, a 400-year-old tree was uprooted by
winds reaching 122 mph, destroying the Good family’s home.

Their home in Essex was completely destroyed when a tree
fell through their roof. Sven Good, on the other hand, ‘did the typical British
thing and went to the pub’ instead of stressing.

While working at his parents’ house, Sven heard a loud bang.
The noise came from the house’s 400-year-old tree collapsing into many rooms.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of the incident.

Sven told the BBC that he was in the middle of a conference
call when the tree collapsed.

“I was on a conference call when I heard a huge breath
of wind and a massive bang. The whole house shook. My girlfriend, who was
working in another room, told me that she had heard something and asked if
a window had been smashed “he stated

The house wasn’t the only one that suffered. The tree also
destroyed Sven’s mother’s car.

While standing outside the property, Sven said his father
was sobbing. They later went to a nearby bar for drinks.

Dominic Good stated that his son’s and daughter’s bedrooms
were entirely demolished. He went on to explain that the family was lucky to
have escaped injury.
