Song Yoo-Jung, who died last Saturday, was a South Korean actor. She rose to fame with her role in the 2019 web series called ‘Dear My Name’. She had started her career as a cosmetic model at the age of 20. She made her acting debut in the series ‘Golden Rainbow’ that aired in 2013.

Born on June 9, 1994, the 26-year-old actor grabbed eyeballs with her show ‘Make A Wish’.

She also advocated for the rights of people with disabilities. She was the ambassador of the Warm Accompaniment, an organisation in South Korea. Her last appearance on TV was in a high school drama called ‘KBS’ School’.

In 2017, she had starred in a music video by the boy band, iKON, called ‘Goodbye Road’. Her death shocked her fans, who are now relating the melancholy of the song with her tragic death. A regular face in K-dramas and music videos, her death has raised many speculations about the possible reason for her death that was not disclosed by her agency.

Song Yoo-Jung was found dead in her apartment on Saturday. Her agency confirmed the news after her family had held the funeral in an intimate gathering on Monday.
