The trailer of the all-new season of hit HBO Max cooking
series, Selena + Chef was released on HBO Max’s Youtube Channel on Thursday.

The American singer and actress Selena Gomez revealed the
news by dropping a trailer and premiere date for season 3 on her Twitter
handle. She captioned the post with a pun, “ Sooo Season 3 means I’m basically
a cooking pro right?”

29-year old Gomez will be seen taking cooking lessons from renowned chefs
and food personalities in the series, including Aarón Sánchez, Ayesha Curry,
Esther Choi, Fabio Viviani, Gabe Kennedy, Jamie Oliver, Kwame Onwuachi, Padma
Lakshmi, Richard Blais, and Sophia Roe.

Each chef represents a different charitable organisation.
According to HBO, the first two seasons earned $360,000 for 23 non-profit
organisations.

Selena Gomez is learning how to prepare COVID-safe group
dishes for game nights, brunches, birthdays, and other special events this time
around.

“I have learned so much about cooking the past two seasons,
but I’m realizing I’ve only scratched the surface. So, I’m continuing my
lessons with the help of my friends,” Gomez states in the teaser, before
presenting a montage of video from the upcoming season.

Gomez adds, “I’m not great with knives. I’m just gonna throw
that out there.”

The series will premiere on October 28th this year on HBO
Max.

Season 1 premiered on August 13, 2020. It is comprised of 10
episodes. In August 2020, the series was renewed for a second season which was released on November 19, 2020 and continued into early 2021

The premise for the first season was inspired by Gomez’s
personal experience and problems with cooking for herself while in quarantine,
and the producer captured it in an unscripted manner. Safety
measures were observed when filming during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Each
episode features a different chef who appears remotely.

Selena Gomez’s July Moon Productions serves as executive
producer for the series.
