%u201819 Kids and Counting%u2019 was a TLC programme that was based on the Duggar family. It aired for seven years before being cancelled in 2015. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children %u2013 nine daughters and ten sons %u2013 all of whose names begin with the letter “J”. The show started as 17 Kids and Counting and was renamed to 18 kids and then 19, as two children were born during its life.

The Duggars – devout Baptists – avoided birth control, saying they allowed God to determine the number of children they have. All of the children in the family were homeschooled. 

Josh Duggar, the eldest of the 19 children, was arrested by federal agents on April 29 in his home state, Arkansas. He was charged for receiving and possessing child pornography. However, on Friday, he plead not guilty.
