A woman is being severely criticized on social media for a viral video where she can be seen supporting Hamas and the October 7 massacre. The woman has been identified as Sahar Shehadeh.

The video went viral on social media where she can be seen addressing the massacre as a history and supported Hamas for doing it. In the video, she wishes for October 7 to occur “again and again and again and again.”

Who is Sahar Shehadeh?

Sahar Shehadeh is a student in the advanced biotechnology program at Durham College. After the video went viral on social media, several users slammed her for her actions and for supporting Hamas and the October 7 massacre.

Severa X users reacted to the surfaced video and expressed their anger. One X user wrote, “If a college doesn’t throw out scum line this, all gov funding should be immediately cut off.”

“What a coincidence, “History” is what became of her career prospects. 🤡” another user wrote.

One user tweeted, “This is surreal after reading about barbaric rapes of young children.  I am seeing a lot more of these reactions from Palestinians. At some point a spade is a spade. God and proper weapons please help Israel survive, being surrounded by this level of hate.”

Following the October 7 tragedy and the ongoing confrontation between Hamas and Israel, anti-Semitic incidents and hate against Jews have sharply increased in the US and around the world. According to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), in the two weeks after the Middle East crisis began—which was triggered by a Hamas attack on Israel—anti-Semitic incidents in the US rose by about 400%.

312 incidents of harassment, violence, and vandalism against Jews were recorded in the US between October 7 and October 23, according to preliminary data from the ADL Center on Extremism. Approximately 99 of these occurrences have a clear connection to the current conflict between Hamas and Israel. In response to the escalating violence, the U.S. Justice Department has stated that it is closely monitoring the increased threats made against Muslims and Jews.
