Einar, a 19-year-old Swedish rapper, was gunned down outside his residence in Stockholm at around 11 pm local time on Thursday. Police have initiated a murder investigation. The teen rapper was immensely popular among Swedish youngsters and his murder has cast a pall of gloom on the nation’s music community.
Einar was born on September 5, 2002 in Enskededalen, Sweden. His mother, Lena Nilsson, was an actress who appeared in dozens of English-Language films. Einár and Georg Ramberg are the actress’s two children. Both pursued their interests in the entertainment industry.
Einar’s mother proudly spoke about his son’s accomplishments. Fans of rap music were taken over by Einar’s song “Katten I trakten” in 2019. The song went viral on Spotify and won many hearts across the country. He was only 16 years old when he was named Sweden’s most-streamed singer of the year.
He released four albums, two of which reached the top of the Swedish album charts, the Sverigetopplistan. He earned the Musikförläggarnas Preis, an annual award given to Swedish songwriters, producers, and lyricists for Breakthrough of the Year in 2019 including Swedish Grammys in 2020.Two of his singles reached number one on the singles list, and the Swedish Recording Industry Association certified four of them platinum. Einar was also featured in Hov1’s number one single, “Gamora.” His songs have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times on Spotify.

Cause of death
Multiple shots were fired on him, and unfortunately, he died on the spot. Officials are investigating the matter and have stated that more than one person is being suspected of the horrific incident.
The motive of the shooting remains unclear, but the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported that the rapper had received several threats recently. It said without providing details that: Einar was shot from point-blank range in an “execution-style.” According to the Swedish public broadcaster SVT, the rapper’s shooting was gang-related.
A report by the Swedish national council for crime prevention said earlier this year that Sweden is the only European country where fatal shootings have risen significantly since 2000, primarily because of the violent activities of organized criminals.
