“At the time, I really didn’t know what it was. I woke up in the morning naked in his bed,” the Italian actor told the newspaper.

Argento has included her accusation in her autobiography, ‘Anatomy of a Wild Heart’, which will be published on Tuesday.

Cohen’s spokesperson called Argento’s claim “categorically false” and “bewildering”. The statement issued by the director’s spokesperson described the pair as having “an excellent working relationship and Mr Cohen considered her a friend, so this claim dating back to 2002 is bewildering,” BBC reported.

In 2002 film xXx, Argento starred along with actors Vin Diesel, Marton Csokas and Samuel L Jackson.
