1. ‘3 idiots’
Farhan Qureshi, an aspiring photographer who ends up studying engineering for the sake of his parents, was played by Madhavan. What he finds most touching about his character is his heartfelt conversation with his father, played by Parikshit Sahni.
Talking about the film, he stated –
“I have used three different voices…as a narrator, as a student and the time where I, Raju (Sharman) and Chatur (Omi) set on the journey to find Rancho (Aamir Khan).
2. ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’
Twenty years ago, ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ was released. The film, starring Dia Mirza, R Madhavan, and Saif Ali Khan, celebrated all of Bollywood’s problematic tropes, including stalking and abusive behaviour.
Although ‘Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein’ did not fare well at the box office, what stayed with viewers was the brilliant performance of the young newcomer, who shone with his natural screen presence in the film.
