Billionaires Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk have long pitted against each other. Their interest and involvement in space and business domains have time and again put them in each other’s crosshairs. Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk was recently seen taking a jibe at Jeff Bezos on social media.

The entrepreneur reacted to a tweet about Amazon’s former CEO Jeff Bezos. A user tweeted a Reddit post with a meme about the Amazon founder. The tweet read, “The 5 stages of J E F F”. The meme further featured 5 different images of Jeff Bezos and was titled “The 5 stages of grief”. Each photo in a particular order was named ‘denial’, ‘anger’, ‘bargaining’, ‘depression’ and ‘acceptance’. The meme also had an arrow pointing at ‘bargaining’, indicating that Jeff Bezos was currently at this stage.

Elon Musk reacted with a laughing emoticon, setting the social media on fire. With over 3,800 likes in less than an hour, the comment went viral on the internet and had people in splits.

Elon Musk has been known to have a good meme game on Twitter. Only recently before Jeff Bezos’ much-talked-about trip to space, a tweet was shared that features him and Elon Musk. The Tesla founder reacted with a ‘haha’ on the post.

The meme went on to say that Jeff’s trip was only going to be suborbital and was inspired by the viral Star Wars template featuring Anakin and Pande Amidala. However, their faces were swapped with those of Bezos and Musk. The meme referred to his space trip to the Karman line, also recognised as the edge of space.

Elon Musk is working on launching a space vehicle that could take 100 people to the Red Planet. The move is on par with the ethos of SpaceX, which is to make life multi-planetary.
