A win on Saturday will take RCB to the
top four with 8 points in six games. DC, on the other hand, will be in
contention for a place in the top four with six points, if they beat RCB.
In their last game, DC defeated Kolkata
Knight Riders by 44 runs after posting 215 for 5 in 20 overs. RCB, on the other
hand, could not chase down a 200+ target set for them by the Chennai Super
Kings.

Till now RCB won three matches and lost
two. The absence of pace bowler Harshal Patel, last season’s Purple Cap winner,
is hurting the side. But in T20 cricket, previous results have very little
impact on future games.
RCB will be buoyant by Harshal Patel’s
return who has been released from quarantine and Josh Hazlewood has been
declared eligible for the remainder of the tournament. So, in the game against
DC, they will field a full-strength side.

Delhi Capitals have been in fine form.
They post a massive score of 215 runs against KKR with their openers Prithvi
Shaw (51 runs) and David Warner (61 runs) setting the stage for a big win.
Captain Rishabh Pant (27 runs), Axar Patel (22 runs), and Shardul Thakur (29
runs) took the KKR bowlers to the cleaners to carry forward the momentum from
the top 3.
In the game against RCB, the Delhi based
franchise will need to retune their middle order with Lalit Yadav and Rovman
Powell not scoring runs consistently. The pace trio of Shardul Thakur,
Mustafizur Rahman, and Khaleel Ahmed shared 5 wickets among themselves and have
formed a formidable trio for the team.

The limelight is on Kuldeep Yadav, who
was released by KKR before the mega auction and DC grabbed him. This season, the
chinaman spinner is having a dream comeback with 10 wickets in 4 matches
including a Man of the Match performance of 4 for 20 in the last game against
KKR. Spinner Axar Patel is yet to take a wicket so far and they might be
tempted to include Anrich Nortje depending on the conditions on offer.

RCB have a top order issue with their
top 3 struggling against CSK last night. Their middle-order batters Glenn
Maxwell (26 runs), Shahbaz Ahmed (43 runs), Suyash Prabhudessai (34 runs), and
Dinesh Karthik (34 runs) scored runs at a strike rate of 200+ to keep their
team in the hunt but they ended up with 193/9 to lose the match by 23 runs.
