Twitter was left in splits after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi got emotional while talking to frontline workers in Varanasi went viral. The BJP leader was paying tribute to the people who died of COVID-19 and got choked up while talking.

“COVID-19 has snatched many of our loved ones from us. I pay my respect to the people who died of COVID-19 and express my condolences to their beavered families,” the Prime Minister said with teary eyes.
However, soon after his address ‘#CrocodileTears’ hit the top trend on Twitter. “Modiji, we need vaccine, not glycerine,” a user wrote.

PM Modi stressed on Black Fungus as a huge challenge and also said that Varanasi has set a great example by the way it has increased the number of oxygen beds and ICU beds.
