Although we’re now halfway through the Loki series, it is still difficult to comprehend the main endgame of the series. As for the third episode, which left viewers on a cliffhanger, not much was clear as to where the series was heading. Nevertheless, Tom Hiddleston has ‘teased’ that episode 4 might be the point where the show will reveal its true nature.

“The series takes off in a new direction in episode 4. And then the destination of that journey kind of comes to fruition in episode 5. So, 4 and 5, I mean, buckle up, cause we’re going somewhere. I hope you don’t see it coming.” said Tom Hiddleston in an interview with BBC Radio’s Ali Plumb.

Well, as for the incredibly vague nature of the quote, it is certain that no amount of fan theories will be able to comprehend what Hiddleston means by this. As for in a show like Loki %u2013 where the timeline is controlled by the TVA (Time Variance Authority) %u2013 almost anything and everything can happen.

For now, it is impossible to assume what the impact of the TVA will be on the series in the coming episodes. Meanwhile, Hiddleston’s comments are gearing us up for what awaits in the next three weeks.

At the end of episode 3, we saw Loki and Sylvie, the female variant of Loki, stuck on the moon named Lamentis-1. Apparently, the moon is deserted because it is on the verge of destruction. In the episode, we saw the two reveal their inner truths to each other.
With not much happening in terms of progress in episode 3, the main narrative and one important detail that we have learned is that none of the agents are actually who they appear to be. It was revealed that they’re all variants throughout time who have been ‘brainwashed’ by the timekeepers to have this belief that %u2013 they have been created by the timekeepers %u2013 to defend the sacred timeline.
