As time is running out (before the moon meets its inescapable destruction), Loki%u2019s fate is sealed because this will certainly be the fourth tragic death to date of the God of Mischief.

Even if Loki and Sylvie succeed in escaping death and find a way off of Lamentis-1, an even grave threat will wait for them in the Time Variance Authority. TVA is ready to go to war after %u2013 Sylvie drew first blood %u2013 with her bombing of the Sacred Timeline.

With the conclusion of episode three, the show reached its midpoint. Before we go on to the second half of the series, here’s three big unanswered questions that head straight into the second half of Loki.

1. What drove the variant to become Sylvie?

The third episode gave us a fair introduction of Sylvie Laufeydottir, who is a variant of Loki Laufeyson. However, not much is known about Sylvie. Despite the fact that somewhat confirms Sylvie to be Lady Loki, the alias she has selected still cannot be a mere coincidence. As of now, by the viewers perspective, what is most likely is that Sylvie is some sort of a combination of %u2013 Lady Loki and the Enchantress.

2. What exactly is the TVA?

TVA stands for Time Variance Authority. It is an organisation that deals with safeguarding the timeline of the Marvel Universe. As for anyone %u2013 who attempts to use time travel to alter either the past or future %u2013 will have to answer to the TVA. Notably, the authority of group is not absolute. Despite this, the TVA has done its part to keep the Marvel timeline from going too far astray.

The TVA consists of faceless bureaucracy because most of its agents are artificial clones called ‘chronomonitors’. The TVA is also led by a mysterious being known as Mr. Alternity. Loki is the first Marvel film or TV show that has introduced the TVA, with Owen Wilson playing TVA agent Mobius M. Mobius.

3. Will there be another Loki variants?

After meeting the female version of Loki, Sylvie, the most intriguing question that we can think of is whether we will meet new variants of Loki or not. With half of the season remaining, there is plenty of time for the makers to answer this. As for our assumption, apart from the teased President Loki, the two other potential candidates who could possibly appear in the remaining part of the series are %u2013 Kid Loki and King Loki.

Kid Loki %u2013 is a younger version of the Loki who was reborn without having any memory of the countless crimes that he had committed in the past. Seemingly, he will try to become a hero with his second chance.

King Loki %u2013 is a much older version of Loki. He is a more sinister iteration who travels across time to tamper events and outcomes in the future.

Provided the distinct look of Loki and Sylvie, there is endless possibilities for new Loki variants to appear in the upcoming episodes. With Loki rumored to be a limited series, it is likely that these six episodes could mark the end of Tom Hiddleston%u2019s decade. However, that is too early to guess. We still have to watch-out for the upcoming episodes as we are halfway into the series.
