Rashmika Mandanna is an Indian actress born on 5 April 1996. She works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada language film, in addition to a few Tamil and Hindi films. She is a recipient of a Filmfare Award South and a SIIMA Award.
Mandanna has been part of successful films, including Kirik Party (2016), Anjani Putra (2017), Chalo (2018), Geetha Govindam (2018), Yajamana (2019), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020), Bheeshma (2020), Pogaru (2021) and Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
She studied for a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Journalism and English Literature at the M. S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce.
Mandanna made her acting debut in 2016 with Kirik Party, which went on to become one of the highest-grossing films in Kannada of the year. She won SIIMA Award for the Best Debut Actress for the role.
In 2017, she appeared in two Kannada films Anjani Putra and Chamak. She was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Kannada at 65th Filmfare Awards South for her role in the film Chamak.
She was at 24th position of ‘Bangalore Times 25 Most Desirable Women of 2016. In October 2021, she peaked Forbes India’s most influential actors on social media.
