Deepika Padukone, who stresses a lot on awareness of mental health, once again took to her Instagram to reiterated the importance of emotional well-being especially in times like now when the country is battling with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taking to Instagram, Deepika shared a list of mental health helpline numbers and added that they are ‘not alone’ in this.
She wrote, “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important! Remember, You Are Not Alone. We are in this together.And most importantly, there is HOPE! #YouAreNotAlone @tlllfoundation.”
Her efforts have been applauded on social media with netizens saying that they are proud of her.
In 2015, Deepika revealed that she had been diagnosed with depression the year before and had sought help. “I woke up one morning just feeling empty you know like this pitt-ish feeling in my stomach,” she said that time. She has also launched a mental health foundation named LiveLoveLaugh (LLL)
