Apple on Tuesday launched a host of products and services through
its ‘Spring Loaded’ event. The tech giant, looking to bolster its market of
listeners and compete with rivals such as Spotify, introduced perks in its
podcasting service, as well as unveiling new products such as the new iMac with
the M1 processor, the Air Tag device, and iPad Pro tablets.

Below listed are the devices and services the Cupertino
company launched in the event:

·
iPad Pro: The all-new iPad Pro tablets, unveiled
at the event from Apple’s headquarters, will be having improved displays, better
connectivity to external accessories, 5G connectivity, and of course, an M1 chip
to smoothly power its functions. The 2021 iPad Pro would also see a 2x quicker storage
access and a total storage volume of 2TB. The devices will start at $799 in the
United States for the 11-inch model and $1,099 for a 12.9-inch device.

iMac: The company also launched a new, sleek
suit of iMacs, Apple’s desktop option, also powered by the M1 chip. The
all-in-one device will come with a thinner design and will be incorporating
features like fingerprint ID and high-res cameras seen normally in iPhones.

·
Apple podcasts: Seemingly driven by ideas of
losing its market to fast-growing rival Spotify, Apple on Tuesday announced the
option of a paid subscription to its podcasting service, which would give users
access to perks like advertisement-free listening and exclusive content from
creators.

with a built-in chip, have the capability to relay the position of an iPhone
and other missing Apple devices.
