The popular show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ is back on popular demand and the producers of the show surprised the fans with something special.
The makers have recently released a new promo of the show in which they have recreated the iconic ‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’ scene after singer Yashraj Mukhate’s parody video went viral on social media.

In the clip, Rupal Patel, who plays the legendry Kokilaben, stands in the middle of the living room and calls her daughter-in-law Gopi Bahu, played by Devoleena Bhattacharjee.
Soon the whole family gathers around her including their house help Gehna, played by Sneha Jain. She then asks everyone “Who prepared the prasad?”, to which Gehna says that she made it and Kokilaben asks her if she has put pure ghee, jaggery, coconut milk, poha, cardamom and egg in the prasad.

Gehna says yes to everything except the eggs. Kokilaben then asks in a loud voice, “Gehna jab rasode se bahar gai thi to rasode mein kaun tha?”
Interestingly, the previous promo of the second season of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ was also based on Mukhate’s parody video.
The promo opens up with Gopi Bahu walking around the house and looking for Gehna. A cooker whistles in the kitchen and she says, “Gehna has probably put the cooker on the stove.”
The first season of Indian drama ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ premiered on May 3, 2010, on Star Plus. The series ran for over seven years and ended on July 23, 2017, completing 2,184 episodes.
