‘Westworld’ Season 4 returns to HBO on June 26, and a new trailer has arrived, scored to Lou Reed’s ‘Perfect Day’.
We see the usual cast of androids faced with existential crises, as the secrets of Westworld – the futuristic amusement park where the elite can play out their fantasies with human-like androids – threaten to spill over more than ever.
The science-fiction series intends the teaser as an easter egg and is aptly titled “It doesn’t look like anything to me”. The teaser doesn’t feature any dialogues either, but we see hints of violence that have come to characterize the series which last appeared two years back, when Season 3 wrapped up in May 2020.
As the montage of images flashes by, we see a dystopic New York City, contraptions emitting smoke, and flies coming out of an android’s mouth, not to mention gunfire, blood, and people eerily dancing in the street. Lou Reed’s lyrics seem ironic here since the androids seem to be having anything but a perfect day.

Lewis and Ben Stephenson in executive producing positions as well, and comes from Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
