Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday after suffering serious head injuries in a road accident. He was 38. According to Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, his last rites will be held at his birthplace Panchanahalli, Kadur Taluk with full state honours.

The Twitter handle of CM of Karnataka announced the news and also appreciated Vijay%u2019s family for donating his organs.

On Monday, doctors had announced that Vijay was brain dead.
