With unexpected skills and talents at their disposal, kids have a way of surprising you. Such is the story of seven-year-old Rithu from Coimbatore. The little one has left the netizens in awe with his spoof video about news reportage. Rithu has taken over the internet with his spot-on acting and memorisation, leaving his father amazed at his talent for a boy of such a tender age.
Rithu had been watching news clips on the web during the coronavirus lockdown. While his father had already set up a Youtube account to show to the world his childish mischief, Rithu bowled him over with his idea of short clips, starring himself.

Remember the viral track Montero by Lil Nas? Well, the singer played all the characters in the official music video. Guess, Rithu got some inspiration too! The father-son duo created a spoof skit over news reportage and featured the 7-year-old as all the characters. Rithu played the anchor, the field reporter and also, the commoner.
He put Tamil Journalists to shame with his perfect elocution and pronunciation of Tamil words in the eight-minute-long skit. Rithu showcased his brilliance by justifying each character by performing with perfection.
Breaking the Internet
While the kid is not in touch with the idea of overnight popularity, he is confused but happy that his video has garnered over 2 lakh views within four days of its release and is trending all over social media.
One of the users commented on Youtube, “After watching behind woods interview.. searched for this page and saw the video .. truly a stress buster. This small boy is full of talent.” Another one wrote, “In the first view honestly I thought there are three kids?
All characters are enacted by a single kid. What acting. Vera level!”

Pride of the Parents
“The idea was just to showcase her son’s brilliance. I was not prepared for the popularity that he attained within such a short period of time and have no idea as to how to handle it,” said his mother Asha to India Today. His father Jothi Raj further added that he started the YouTube channel in association with Tamada Media to create the videos and is extremely proud of his son’s success.
