Many said after the release of the movie that Mouni Roy has “overshadowed” the greater celebrities in the cast of the fantasy epic Brahmastra, in which she played the antagonist Junoon. Along with Kapoor and Bhatt, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Shah Rukh Khan. Mouni had the opportunity to work with them in all the scenes.
Mouni Roy finally revealed in a recent interview with India Today that she would be repeating her role as Junoon in Brahmastra parts 2 and 3. The actress admitted that she is unaware of it at this time.
She said: “I hope I do. I’m manifesting it. But honestly, I don’t know. Hands on my heart, I really don’t know. Ask Ayan to bring me back.” With the audience showing so much love to Roy, it is only a matter of time before she is re-casted in the later sequels.
