The video tweeted by the news agency shows the woman being heckled while she is walking with a grown-up boy on her shoulders. "She had allegedly left her husband for someone else. Angered by this, her relatives also allegedly beat her," the news agency reported.

Guna SP was quoted as saying, "a case had been registered. Three of the four accused have been arrested."

According to reports, the woman and her husband had separated sometime back and she was living with another man. But last week, her in-laws landed at her place and allegedly started assaulting her and then meted out the 'punishment'.
