Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is going to release its results for the class 12 examinations, also known as intermediate exams, at 3:00 pm on Friday, BSEB announced on Twitter late on Thursday. This would make the board the first school board in the country to go through examinations and announce results in 2021.

The results would be available on, the official website of the BSEB.

BSEB, in its tweet, announced further that the results would be declared by Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhury

Over 13 lakh candidates had appeared for the examinations from February 1 to February 13, 2021.

In a new approach, the board time would be including a student’s additional subject while marking so that even if they fail a compulsory subject, they would pass the evaluation and the marks acquired for the additional subject would be added to the student’s marksheet.

To pass the assessment, candidates would need to score the minimum passing marks for each subject as well as in aggregate. In case of doubts over scoring process, they will be able to apply for a recheck, the exact process for which has not been announced yet.

There was significant confusion on Thursday as the result link appeared and was removed multiple times on the official website stated above.

The Bihar Board results were the first to be published last year as well, with the board coming out with it under 25 days in 2020.
