Fans were pleasantly surprised on Monday when the much-loved BTS boys Jin, Jimin, Suga, Jungkook, J-Hope, RM, and V each created their own Instagram accounts. The Army's global fan base was quick to tap on the Follow tabs for all seven members of the South Korean singer group. However, one BTS member set a new record for gaining the most followers in the shortest amount of time.
V, also known as Kim Taehyung, beat Angelina Jolie, who had previously set the record for the fastest time to garner 1 million followers. The 25-year-old singer set a new record by becoming the fastest person to reach 10 million Instagram followers. As we write, the singer's Instagram account has 22.7 million followers.

The seven members' personal Instagram accounts have been revealed ahead of BTS' second official holiday. After working on their art since the pandemic began, BTS' entertainment company, BigHit Music, announced on Monday that the seven members will be taking their second official extended period of rest. Since their debut in 2013, the seven members will be spending the holidays with their respective families for the first time.
The septet's decision to open Instagram accounts just as they begin their personal rejuvenation period can be viewed as a way for them to stay in touch with their fans in their individual capacities. As evidenced by his recent Instagram post, V has mastered the GenZ trend of sharing photo dumps on the photo-sharing platform, while BTS leader RM appears to be taking advantage of the opportunity to share his own love for the sea, cats, and all things natural.
Meanwhile, the members of BTS have completed their Permission To Dance On Stage concert in Los Angeles. Thousands of BTS fans attended the event, and the septet earned over $33 billion as a result.
