Gold prices on Tuesday traded on a flat note, after touching their lowest in over a week. The US dollar held firm ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting, where another rate hike is expected. US central banks are expected to continue their inflation curbs, despite a debate over when to move to smaller interest rate hikes to avoid taking the world’s largest economy into a declining trend.

Gold prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) increased on Tuesday, November 01, 2022. Gold futures were trading at Rs 50,495.00 per 10 gm, up 173 points or 0.34%, in the Indian market. Silver futures were trading at Rs 58,993.00 per kg, down 1,315 points or 2.28%.

In global markets, gold was priced at $1,647.49 per oz, while silver is priced at $19.75. Platinum was trading at $947.73, while palladium was trading at $1,877.18.

Copper futures were trading at Rs 657.50 down 1.62% while Natural Gas and Aluminium futures were trading at Rs 512.00 and Rs 199.50 per Kg respectively on MCX.

In the spot market, the 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 50,480 per 10 grams while silver was priced at Rs 57,350 per kg on Monday according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

According to the Good Returns website, ten grams of 22-carat gold is being sold for Rs 46,000 in Mumbai and Kolkata. In Chennai, the same amount of yellow metal can be purchased for Rs 47,050. Today, it costs Rs 46,150 in New Delhi.

The 24-carat gold rate is Rs 50,180 for ten grams of metal in Kolkata and Mumbai. In Chennai, the same amount of gold is being traded for Rs 51,330. It can be purchased for Rs 50,350 in New Delhi.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,030 and Rs 46,050 in Patna and Surat, respectively. In Patna, the same amount of 24-carat purity is worth Rs 50,210, while in Surat, it is worth Rs 50,230.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 46,000 in Kerela, Bhubaneswar, and Vishakhapatnam. The same amount can be purchased for Rs 46,050 in Bengaluru, Mysore, and Ahmedabad. In Kerela, Bhubaneswar, and Vishakhapatnam, ten grams of 24-carat gold costs Rs 50,180. The same amount of 24-carat gold can be purchased for Rs 50,230 in Bengaluru, Mysore, and Ahmedabad.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold costs Rs 47,050 and Rs 46,150 in Madurai and Chandigarh, respectively. The same amount of 24-carat purity costs Rs 51,330 in Madurai. It is worth Rs 50,350 in Chandigarh.

Ten grams of 22-carat gold is bought and sold for Rs 46,030 in Pune and Vadodara. In both cities, the same quantity of 24-carat purity is sold for Rs 50,210.
