Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday announced CBSE board exam schedule for
class 12
.

According to the official announcement, the exams will commence on May 4 and will end on June 10, 2021. The result 2021 for Class 10 and Class 12 will be declared on July 15.

Appearing candidates can check the datasheet here or can visit the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) – cbse.gov.in.  

Considering the COVID prompted delay, the CBSE has not offered many study leaves to the students as it did in previous years.

The CBSE board exams will commence with the English Language paper on May 4, which is divided into two segments– English Language and English Core followed by the optional subject exam.

Students opted for Carnatic/Hindustani music or Taxation got less relaxation from CBSE as no study gaps were provided by the board.

Physical education students, on the other hand, have been awarded a four-day study leave for the exam which will be held on May 3.

Students
will then sit for fashion studies, business studies, physics and applied
physics papers without a break till May 13.

A one
day leave is provided for mass media, languages and retail exam.

The
real game of what students dub as ‘core subjects’ will begin from May 17 with
the Accountancy exam, followed by Chemistry and legal studies without any study
gap till May 20.

Vocational
arts paper is on May 22 followed by Biology, Economy, French, Hindi, Sociology, History, Mathematics, Home Science among other each day till June 11 without a study leave except for Sundays.

With COVID-19 prompted online learning transforming the approach students have towards board exams, will play a significant role in the way CBSE conducts the exam.

Nearly 30 lakh students are expected to appear for the CBSE Board exam 2021 this year.
