Indraprastha
Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi has recently has announced the
admission to Undergraduate courses via Joint Admission Counselling (JAC). The
application form for JAC Delhi 2021 was started on September 24, 2021 and will
continue till October 24, 2021. Candidates who are interested can fill the JAC
counselling form by visiting the official website at jacdelhi.nic.in.

Candidates
who want to take admission at IIIT-Delhi for BTech programme must have clear
the class 12 exam in respective board i.e. CBSE, CISCE or any equivalent board.
 At least 70% marks will be required in
the best five subjects and 70% marks in Mathematics to be eligible for JAC counselling
2021.

Candidates
who come under reserved category will have some relaxation in the admission process.

IIIT Delhi
providing the admission to these BTech courses is: Computer Science and
Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Computer
Science and Applied Mathematics (CSAM), Computer Science and Bio-Sciences
(CSB), Computer Science and Social Sciences (CSSS), Computer Science and Design
(CSD), and Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CSAI).

Those
candidates will get 2 bonus points if he/she took part in any extracurricular
activities such as Olympiads, Programming, National Science fair, Sports event,
Annual event which automatically helps the candidates of getting admission in
the IIIT-Delhi.

According to
an official statement by institutes which states that, “Fee waiver and various
scholarships are also awarded to students of the lower-income group so that no
deserving students are deprived of quality higher education”.

JAC
counselling 2021 process will be held online. Apart from IIIT-Delhi the other institutions
that participate in the JAC 2021 counselling process are Delhi Technological
University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Netaji
Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University
(DSEU).

According to data shared by institute, a
total of 6,175 engineering seats will be allotted this year to take admission through JAC Delhi
counselling.
