after the announcement of the JEE Main 2021 result, candidates will be notified
of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) online counselling process.
Depending on the rank secured by the candidates in JEE Main 2021 and JEE
Advanced 2021, candidates will be eligible for JoSAA counselling 2021 to the
Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology
(NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and
Government-Based Technology Institutions (GFTIs).

Basic JoSAA
counselling will include a number of steps such as registration, choice
filling, locking of choice, seat allocation, and payment of seating fees. JEE

Will PIO or
OCI Card holders get admission through JoSAA?

Yes. Candidates
who are PIO or OCI card holders will be able to apply for admission to NITs,
IIITs, GFTIs according to their JEE Main 2021 score. For IITs, candidates can apply
on the basis of their rank at JEE Advanced 2021.

JEE Main 2021 likely to be  release shortly today. Registration for JEE Advanced 2021 will begin
