Mumbai police have registered a case against T-Series company’s managing director Bhushan Kumar, son of music baron late Gulshan Kumar, for allegedly raping a woman on the promise of providing a job to her, an official said on Friday, reports PTI.

The offense was registered at D N Nagar police station in Andheri (West) based on the complaint lodged by the 30-year-old woman, he said.

Sonu Nigam targeting him 

Singer Sonu Nigam targetted T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar with furious videos. The ace crooner not only accused Bhushan of being the ‘music mafia’ of the industry but also reminded him of an actress-model’s sexual harassment allegations against him. 

MeToo allegations

Bhushan was accused of sexual harassment by a model-actress during India’s #MeToo movement in 2018. However, she had later backed out.

Masakali 2.0 fiasco

T-Series has often made remixes Masakali 2.0, a recreated version of Masakali from Delhi 6, was slammed left, right and center. AR Rahman, the composer of the original, had taken to social media to express his anger over the remixed version. Also, ‘Delhi 6’ director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had said that he will tell Bhushan Kumar that the original creators must be consulted before a song is recreated.

Akshay Kumar opting out of Gulshan Kumar’s biopic ‘Mogul’

Akshay Kumar decided to walk out of ‘Mogul’, the biopic of Bhushan’s father, the late Gulshan Kumar, setting a cold war between them. Bhushan went on saying that he would cast a bigger star than Akshay in the film.
