When Sonam Kapoor called Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ‘aunty’

The actor addressed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as “An aunty” during a chat show. When asked if this is because she is from another generation, Sonam clarified, “Ash has worked with my dad, so I have to call her Aunty na?”

Reportedly, the tension between the two actors started when Aishwarya replaced Sonam Kapoor as the brand ambassador for a beauty brand. However, a while later, Sonam Kapoor came out and added that she was “misquoted” for her statements.

Called Ranbir Kapoor, ‘not a boyfriends material’

In an interview with an entertainment portal, when she was asked about her rumoured relationship with Ranbir, she not only denied them but also referred to Ranbir by saying that he is not “good boyfriend material”. She also added that she wonders how Deepika Padukone “held on to him for so long”.

When asked if she had any fashion advice for Deepika, she said, “Deepika doesn’t have her own style. She is not a clotheshorse. But she has upped her style now, thanks to Anaita Shroff Adajania.”
