First trailer of ’80 for Brady’ got released on November 17. This time, the famous American football player will address “super senior” supporters.

Cast

The movie follows four elderly women as they travel by car to see Tom Brady play in Super Bowl LI. Oscar winners Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field portray those four women. (Inexplicably, Guy Fieri is also a cast member).

Plot

Like earlier Tom Brady films, “80 for Brady” draws its inspiration from real-life incidents. According to the trailer, four friends named Lily, Rita, Jane, and Sally—all lifelong Brady supporters—set out on a road trip to attend the Super Bowl matchup between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons.

The four friends are shocked to learn that Super Bowl tickets are incredibly expensive when they get to Houston. Instead of being discouraged, they take part in a competition where they pretend to be halftime show dancers while devouring hot wings.

Brady is the executive producer and performs as himself through his production company, 199 Productions. On Instagram, Brady posted the movie’s trailer and thanked everyone who contributed to making ’80 for Brady.’ Check out the trailer here:

Release Date

The film will be released in theatres on February 3, 2023.

Brady has been going through a personal struggle since he and his wife Gisele Bundchen decided to divorce after 13 years of marriage. The power couple’s separation was officially announced on October 28, putting an end to months of rumours. Brady and Bundchen were also named in a class-action lawsuit brought against the defunct cryptocurrency exchange FTX.
