Cast

The film stars Adam Driver, Ariana Greenblatt, and Chloe Coleman as main cast. As Commander Mills, a pilot who carelessly crashes upon an uncharted world, Adam Driver, the Star Wars acti on star, is thrust back into space in this sci-fi thriller. Together with young survivor Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), he explores the world only to learn that they had actually journeyed 65 million years in the past, well beyond their purview.

Plot

Even though the teaser, which was released on December 13, only had Driver and Greenblatt in a cave and didn’t show much else, Driver’s fans’ fantasies were absolutely out of control, as they started imagining and comparing Driver in his previous roles. The trailer was subsequently launched on December 15.

After their spaceship collides with an asteroid and is forced to crash-land, the pilot Mills (Adam Driver) and his passenger Koa (Ariana Greenblatt) struggle to survive on what initially seems to be an alien planet. As they initially start to explore the odd, new world with its lush woods and surprisingly breathable air, neither Mills nor Koa have a firm grasp of where they are despite their advanced technology and experience of interplanetary travel.

However, as raptors and other dinosaurs start to sniff out the humans, it becomes apparent to them that they have somehow wound themselves on Earth as it was 65 million years ago. This realisation makes the idea of being pursued by creatures that should be extinct much more horrifying.
