Singer Alicia Keys will be performing at rapper takeoff’s memorial service on Friday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, TMZ reports. The report says that it is not clear what she will be performing and for how long, but she will be there, and will sing for sure.

Keys, who had not collaborated with Takeoff before, featured with the deceased rapper’s band Migos in Kanye West’s last Donda album. After the rapper was shot dead, she also wrote a message on Twitter in which she sent her condolences to his family and loved ones.

“This is too much…. It’s like every day RIP Takeoff. Sending light to your family and loved ones We are losing too many too soon!!,” Keys said in the Tweet.

Along with Takeoff, Justin Bieber will also perform at Takeoff’s Atlanta memorial. Tickets for the event are already sold out, TMZ reports.

The 28-year-old rapper was killed earlier this month in a shooting incident in Houston. The reports said that the rapper was shot after a fight broke out over a dice game at a bowling alley called 810 Billboards and Bowling Houston. He died at the scene. His stage partner Quavo was also present at the scene.

Takeoff’s killer is still at large and the police are trying to spot him down. Earlier, Houston police chief Troy Finner requested the eyewitnesses of the incident to come forward and help solve the rapper’s murder.

“I ask you one thing and I want this to resonate with everybody: What if it was your brother? What if it was your son? You’d want somebody to step up, so please step up. Get the information to us so we can bring some closure to this family who’s hurting right now,” Finner had said in his earnest request.
