The 2023 BET Awards will air live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles tonight, Sunday, June 25, at 8 p.m. (7 p.m. CT), on BET. Although the host for this year has not yet been revealed by the network, it should be a big surprise! It’s simple to presume that the nominations and performers’ roster will be just as impressive as in previous years.

The ceremony will be live-streamed on BET. Simulcasts of the ceremony will also be available on Logo, MTV, MTV2, TV Land, and VH1. Live TV streaming services like DirecTV Stream, FuboTV, and Sling TV allow people who don’t have cable to watch the event live and on demand.

The awards program has been hosted the past two years by actor Taraji P. Henson, but it appears that the production firm wanted to make a huge impact and is keeping the identity of this year’s host a secret from viewers. Twitter users have been guessing about who it might be. The rumored candidates are Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry, Lauryn Hill, and Mo’Nique.

The performances scheduled for the night include 69 Boys, BIA, Big Daddy Kane, Coco Jones, Lil Uzi Vert, M.O.P., Patti Labelle, Ice Spice, Trick Daddy, Tyga.

With five nominations each, 21 Savage and Lizzo are tied for third place, followed by Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Ice Spice, and SZA, who each received four.
