On the occasion of her 41st birthday, Britney Spears sent her two teenage sons a heartfelt greeting.

The pop star, who hasn’t seen her sons Jayden James, 16, and Sean Preston, 17, in recent months due to a public dispute, posted a heartfelt message to them on Instagram on Friday December 2.

Spears wrote in separate posts dedicated to each son.

“To both of my boys … I love you … I would die for you !!! God speed my precious hearts !!! I would give anything just to touch your face !!! I send my love … Mamasita.”

The Hold Me Closer singer previously talked about her hard, protracted separation from Sean Preston and Jayden James, the children she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Spears and Federline have had several different custody arrangements since their divorce in July 2007, with Federline having majority custody for many years.

She also posted an audio clip on her Instagram in September.

“Since they’ve been gone, I’ve honestly felt like a huge part of me has died”. “Like, literally, I have no purpose anymore.”

Along with a picture of her sons, Britney also sent a tribute to her estranged sister Jamie Lynn Spears on her 41st birthday, clearly reaching out to her after a contentious period of time.

The singer posted two images of her younger sibling and wrote a heartfelt note in the caption.
