Chris Evans was announced as PEOPLE’s newest Sexiest Man Alive on Monday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Stephen Colbert addressed the audience and said, “It is with great humility and gratitude that I am thrilled to announce that PEOPLE magazine has decided to award me the incredible honor of announcing the Sexiest Man Alive for the second year in a row. This year’s Sexiest Man Alive is Chris Evans.”

Christopher Robert Evans, popularly known by his stage name Chris Evans, is an American actor. He made his debut in the industry in 1997 and is most recognized for playing Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie series. He is currently among the highest-paid actors in the world and he has been a part of many marvel movies that include Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and The Avengers.
