A screenshot of Offset’s Instagram story that went viral on Twitter on Monday had fans asking if Car B cheated on her husband.
The presently-deleted Instagram Story only had one line which said, “My wife fucked a n***a on me.” The screenshot which seemed to allege that the WAP singer cheated on Offset confused fans as Cardi B had tweeted yesterday that she was “proud” of Offset for his tribute to Takeoff with Quavo at the BET Awards.
As if fans were not already making up theories in their heads, Cardi B took to Twitter Spaces and appeared to sing part of the song, I Should Have Cheated by Keyshia Cole. “First of all let me say / You can’t accuse me of all the things / You know that you are guilty of / And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me,” are some of the lyrics she sang.

Did Cardi B cheat on Offset?
She then attempted to clarify the cheating rumors. “Don’t pay attention to that country man, y’all,” Cardi said. “That Spaces the other day? That motherf**ker spiralling and thinking s**t. Come on, now. I’m f**kin’ Cardi B. … I think sometimes motherf**kers forget, I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this p**sy to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody. I can’t f**k me no regular degular shmegular because they gon’ tell the world. I can’t f**k nobody in the industry ’cause they gonna tell too. So please, boy, stop acting stupid. Stop acting stupid. Going crazy over a f**king Space, don’t play with me. The f**k? Stop playing. That’s all I’mma motherf**king say, because for real, let’s be serious,” she added.
The rapper seemed to be referring to the one that she did over the weekend. In that she reportedly said that if she and Offset got divorced, she would release many hits and then “upgrade” and be with “another rich n***a.”
So it seems that Cardi B did not actually cheat on Offset but he just got angry or jealous over the comments she made in her last Twitter Spaces so he decided to give the fans a false shocker.
Offset has been married to Cardi since 2017. He himself has been accused of cheating for years – something that prompted Cardi B to even briefly file for divorce in 2020.
“When me and my husband got into our issues — you know, he cheated and everything — and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me,” Cardi told Vogue in 2019. “But it’s real-life shit. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”
