Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique seems to have come up with a fitting response to his ex, Shakira’s music video, Music Sessions Vol. 53, where she appeared to make several references to her relationship with him and even subtly mentioned Clara Chía Martí, his current girlfriend.

The lyrics in Shakira’s song describe how she had “traded a Ferrari for a Twingo” and “a Rolex for a Casio.”

On Friday, Piqué appeared in the live video Friday afternoon of the Kings League, the sporting event that he leads together with the content creator Ibai Llanos, with a Casio watch on his right wrist. In addition, he delivered another to each of the presidents of the other teams in the competition.

The ex-Blaugrana central defender announced an agreement with the Japanese multinational for the sponsorship of the Kings League. “This watch is for life,” Piqué said. “Casio has given us watches, as the Kings League has reached an agreement. I’m serious.”

This Sunday, he arrived at the Kings League with a Twingo and Sergio Agüero as his league’s clown. He also announced a curious plan he was cooking up with the Renault manufacturer for their Kings League competition.

“I have closed an agreement with Renault so that on Sunday (this January 15) I drive a Twingo, with the clown next to me. Can’t I close personal agreements and arrive as I want?” he mentioned.
