tvN released a new teaser of their upcoming drama ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’. The teaser features Lee Sang-Yi who will be playing the role of Ji Sang-Hyun, a variety show producing director in the show. The teaser also features Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho in the lead roles.

The new teaser released shows the peculiar relationship of Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-ah) and Hong Doo-Shik (Kim Seon-ho) that develops when Yoon Hye-jin shifts to the seaside town Gongjin. The lead characters are seen squabbling over little things.

Doo-Shik handles the drunk Hye-jin. Whereas Hye-jin is seen directing all her attention to Doo-Shik’s lips when he visits her clinic as a patient. They also share a romantic moment while doing their laundry.

Ji Sang-Hyun visits the seaside town Gongjin to shoot his new variety show. In the seaside town, Sang-Hyun gets entangled in the lives of Hye-jin, Doo-Shik and the residents of Gongjin. Sang-Hyun and Hye-jin seem to have known each other. 

During a meal with Doo-Shik and Hye-jin, Sang-Hyun asks her how long has it been since they last met. Hye-jin smiles and offers Sang-Hyun the last dumpling but Doo-Shik snatches it and eats it by himself.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will be available to stream on Netflix. The show is a remake of the 2004 Korean film ‘Mr Hong’.

The show is about a dentist Yoon Hye-jin who moves to the seaside town Gongjin to open her own clinic. There she meets Hong Doo-Shik, currently unemployed but the busiest man in the town. He is always busy helping people in the town.

Shin Min-ah and Kim Seon-ho will be working together for the first time. The duo is lovingly called the ‘dimple couple’.
