Jacklyn Zeman, popular for playing nurse Bobbie Spence on General Hospital, has died. She was 70 years old.

Her death was announced by the daytime drama’s executive producer Frank Valentini.

“On behalf of our @GeneralHospital family, I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved
@JackieZeman. Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work,” he wrote on Twitter.

Her cause of death has not been released yet.

ABC Entertainment and GH in a statement remembered Zeman as a person with a kind hear and radiant spirit.

“Jacklyn Zeman has been a beloved member of the General Hospital and ABC family since she originated the iconic role of Bobbie Spencer over 45 years ago. She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl turned heroine and will always be remembered for her kind heart and radiant spirit. We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones,” the statement read.

Zeman was married three times. Murray Kaufman, a popular DJ, Steve Gribbin and Glenn Gorden were her three husbands. The 70-year-old has two daughters, both with Gorden. Their names are: Cassidy Zee Gorden and Lacey Rose Gorden.

Jacklyn Zeman first joined the ABC show in 1977, appearing in more than 800 episodes. The 70-year-old was a five-time Daytime Emmy nominee.

Some of her famous shows are: One Life to Live and General Hospital. She also appeared in films like Class Reunion. Young Doctors in Love, Jury Duty: The Comedy and Montana Crossroads.
