Jeanie Buss, an American sports executive got engaged to her long-time boyfriend and American actor and comedian Jay Mohr earlier this month.

Jeanie and Jay reportedly started dating in the year 2017. The American actress was spotted wearing a ring on her ring finger which initiated the rumours of the couple being engaged.

Buss last year on her birthday on September 27, 2021, shared a love filled note for the comedian Mohr. “Happiness. Love. Joy” wrote Jeanie, “That’s what you have given me on my birthday and every day in between.”

They were frequently spotted together attending the Lakers games.

Los Angeles Lakers’ president Jeanie Marie Buss got married to Steve Timmons, a volleyball player in the year 1990. She took divorce three years after her marriage stating “I never put my marriage first … It was always business which attracted me,” in an interview.

She then got engaged to Lakers’ former coach and New York Knicks president Phil Jackson. She started dating him in 1999 and was engaged to him for four years. The Los Angeles Lakers owner in an interview expressed her love for Phil and said, “The love of my life is the Los Angeles Lakers. I love Phil & will always. It’s not fair to him or Lakers to not have my undivided attention.” The couple’s separation was announced on December 27, 2016, by Jackson. Almost a year after her separation, she started seeing Jay Mohr.

Comedian and host Mohr was married twice before getting engaged to actress Jeanie. He was first married to a model Nicole Chamberlain in 1998 and got divorced in 2004. Mohr has a son named Jackson from his first marriage. He then tied the knot with American actress Nicole Avery Cox on December 29, 2006. Nicole is best known for her roles in Unhappily Ever After, The Norm Show, Nikki and the show Las Vegas. During The Adam Carolla Show, this stand-up comedian announced his separation on May 16, 2017, with his second wife Cox.
