WWE superstar
and Hollywood actor John Cena has married his long-time girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh
in a private ceremony in Tampa, Florida.

According
to the couple’s marriage certificate, they tied the knot on Monday, Fox
News reported. They obtained their marriage certificate on Friday, Fox News reported
quoting People magazine.

The
43-year-old was reported to be in a relationship with his now-wife since early
2019, after his high-profile split with ex-fiancée and WWE star Nikki Bella. Cena
and Bella announced their split in 2018.

The ‘Bumblebee’
actor was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012.

He gave a possible
indication about his marriage last week on Twitter when he wrote about love.

“Love
involves constant effort. When you are truly ready to let love in and give to love
all it needs to flourish, I feel there is no greater more rewarding connection,”
Cena wrote.

Since
quitting WWE, Cena has starred in a number of blockbuster Hollywood movies,
like ‘Blockers’ and ‘Bumblebee’. He will also feature in the upcoming ‘Fast and
Furious 9‘ and ‘The Suicide Squad’.
