Reacting to actor Taapsee Paannu’s remarks of “not so sasti anymore” on the Income Tax department raids conducted at her home, actor Kangana Ranaut on Saturday replied to her statements on Twitter, saying, “You will always remain sasti because you are every rapist’s feminist.”
“You will always remain sasti (cheap) because you are sab (every) rapists ka feminist… your ring master (Anurag) Kashyap was raided in 2013 as well for tax chori (theft)… government official’s report is out if you aren’t guilty go to court against them come clean on this … come on sasti,” Ranaut said on Twitter.
Taapsee, whose home was raided by the I-T department along with director Anurag Kashyap on Wednesday, took to Twitter breaking her silence on the search earlier on Saturday. She said that I-T officials raided her property to find keys to an “alleged” Paris bungalow and receipts of Rs 5 crore- things that she doesn’t have.

In a three-tweet thread, Taapsee said, “3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily…1. The keys of the ‘alleged’ bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner.”
“2. The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before… 3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister… P.S- ‘not so sasti’ anymore,” the actor added in her other two tweets.

Taapsee and Kangana have often been engaged in a war of words on Twitter over many issues, from ongoing farmers’ protests to Rihanna’s tweet on the farmers protest.
The I-T department after the raids at Taapsee’s, Kashyap’s and his two partners’, who launched the Phantom Films, said that they had detected financial irregularities of over Rs 650 crores.
Taapsee is currently shooting with Kashyap the movie “Doobara”, the shoot of which resumed on Saturday, after halting on Wednesday post raids.
